From the Artist: A young Vietnamese woman holds a black carp, symbolizing prosperity. The water casts a golden shine around her as she adorns a traditional ao dai. Kelly is a Vietnamese-American tattoo artist and her family immigrated from a small fishing town in Vietnam. This piece is for family traditions, morphing into a modern day Asian-American.
