From the Artist: For tradition, I've seen my family constantly sacrifice themselves in order to provide a better life for their loved ones by working. Work is my family tradition and a carabao knows exactly what work is. It's getting up every morning and going out to plow the fields to help make the farmers situation better. It's putting all the heavy lifting on your shoulders and carrying it without any complaints through the muddy fields. The Carabao does it all and wakes up the next day ready to do it all over again. My mother, who is a nurse for over 40 years, has worked and sacrificed her body to help my family immigrate here in the States and continues to work hard as a single mother to be able to provide for us. Working hard and sacrificing yourself for others to be happy is what I consider part of our tradition as a family.

I see this now in my sister who is also in the medical field and in myself where I would rather be working than wasting time partying. Plus my last name means farming/farmer in Tagalog and that just makes me closer to the Carabao because they are certainly part of the family. I hope that makes sense. Please give out the stickers during the show for any one who wants them.
